Which ink will last the longest Toner for Laser or ink jet ?

Please bear in mind I am talking about very little use about one page each month.

The problem is the dates on the chips of the ink cartridges expire therefore even if the cartridge is still 3/4 full or has been refilled you can no longer use the ink cartridge. this usually occurs each six months depending on manufacturer.

Will the same thing happen with toner or will it last longer ?Which ink will last the longest Toner for Laser or ink jet ?
Toner, definitely. The dry ';ink'; of toner does not expire.

Inkjets have real problems when used infrequently. The ink dries up in the jets, clogging them. Unless you use them regularly, inkjets have a lot of problems.Which ink will last the longest Toner for Laser or ink jet ?
Laser! I have a HP Laserjet on the original toner cartridge and I've been using it for over 7 years.

If you watch for sales, you can pick and HP LJ for under 100. Officemax.com has the HP LaserJet P1006 on sale for $99. They list a Samsung printer for even less but I don't have any experience with that brand.

Don't forget to buy a USB printer cable if you need one - most printers do not include one in the box.
I do not do much printing just like you I have laser printer I have been using the toner for the last two years and it is still going.
