Laser printer's ';out of toner'; light keeps blinking but theres still more toner every time i print out pages?

should i change the toner? the blinking light is annoying but i've printed over 100+ pages since the light started. Also, anybody have experience with generic brand toners?Laser printer's ';out of toner'; light keeps blinking but theres still more toner every time i print out pages?
The blinking light is just a warning that you are very low on toner. You can still print many pages before the cartrdige is really empty.
